Invisible Lift's Fifty-First Century Fic Index
On behalf of the Captain, I present the Official Invisible Lift Fic Index. We ask that you use it responsibly.

Standard Disclaimer: Being a bloke who likes to slash good looking men doesn't make me RTD, I don't work for the BBC, and as much as I might like to, I don't own Jack or Ianto or any part of Torchwood. I do, however, order pizza under that name on principle.

Episodic Fic
Title: Hatful of Hollow
Rating: Ranges from PG to NC-17
Pairing(s):Jack/Ianto with occasional mention of others
Notes/Summary: My behind-the-scenes Jack/Ianto story. Starts just post "Countrycide" and finishes up at the end of S1 (with just a dash of "Last of the Time Lords"). Canon-friendly, includes material and dialogue from eps, deleted scenes, and the website.
Episode Links )

Title: Adam
Rating: Ranges from PG to R/NC-17
Notes/Summary: No one knows what happened to the real Ianto Jones. A longer treatment of the "Adam" short piece.
Episode Links )

Disambiguation AU
Rating: Ranges from PG to NC-17
Notes/Summary: Disambiguation sprang from a one-off fic I wrote at [info]damalan's suggestion. It's a sandbox where I explore the exploits of a parallel Torchwood where the events of "End of Days" don't go as smoothly as they do in canon and Jack is still looking for the Doctor. Features Andy Davidson as a member of the team.

The Original
In which Ianto gets to know himself a little better.
Disambiguation (NC-17) (Ianto/Ianto, Jack/Ianto)

Disambiguation: In These Stones
In which we meet the team, Ianto heeds his own advice, and Andy has a profoundly bad day.
Pairings: Jack/Ianto, Ianto/Owen, and mention of Ianto/Ianto. Possible hints and sideways mention of other pairings.
Episode Links )

"Montmartre" cluster
Rating: Varies (PG to R)
Pairings: Jack/Ianto, Jack/Other (some OMC, historical)
Notes/Summary: A non-episodic group of loosely-connected stories, mostly about Jack's past. A work in progress, written and presented out of order.
Story Links )

"It'll End in Tears" cluster
Rating: Adult (Varies)
Pairings: Ianto/Andy
Notes/Summary: A semi-episodic group of Ianto/Andy stories, presented in (mostly) chronological order. Kinky, and a little cruel. Also a work in progress, and will include stories from my [info]un_love_you prompt table. (You can find that here, by the way.)
Story Links )

Doctor Who Crossovers
The Doctor Still Dances (PG-13 - Jack/Ten, mention of others)
Three Girl Rhumba (PG)

Other Crossovers
Oh! You Pretty Things (NC-17) (Jack/Chris Skelton from Life on Mars)
Out of His Range (PG) (Crossover with Being Human)

Stand-Alone Fic
[Archivist's note: looking for prompt table drabbles? Check here.]

Confessional (R) (Jack/Ianto)
Prickly (PG) (hints at Gwen/Owen)
Be All My Sins Remember'd (PG-13) (Angst warning)
Three Breaths Before He Closed His Eyes (PG-13) (hints at Jack/Ianto, angst warning)
Adam (PG) (Prototype for episodic Adam series)
Wish (ranges from PG to Hard R) (Multiple pairings)
Mastering Library Science (NC-17) (Jack/Ianto, hints at Gwen/Owen)
Taking Hold (NC-17) (Tosh/Ianto, hint of non-con)
Callsign: Deadman (PG)
Homesick (PG) (hints at Jack/Ianto)
Trick or Treat aka "Sweetness" (PG) (Jack/Ianto)
Oh, Pants (PG)
Bodies for Science (PG)
A Spoonful of Sugar (PG) (hints at Jack/Ianto, Owen)
Customary Strangeness (PG)
Y Llanc Glandeg Didrugaredd (R) (Ianto/Andy)
Interference (PG)
Appearances (PG)
Boys Lost and Found (PG-13) (Jack/Ianto)
Hypertension (PG-13) (Jack/Ianto) SPOILER WARNING FOR 2x02 - "Sleeper"
Dining In (PG-13) (Jack/Ianto)
Anger Management (PG-13)
Quite a List (R) (Jack/Ianto)
Inside We Never See (PG-13) (Jack/Ianto) SPOILER WARNING FOR 2x01 - "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang"
Malthusian Growth (PG)
If I Am Missing or Dead (PG)
To Hold Life in the Palm of Your Hand (PG) (Jack/Ianto) SPOILER WARNING FOR 2x03 - "To The Last Man"

It'll End In Tears: My Ianto/Andy [info]un_love_you prompt table
So somehow I was made aware of [info]un_love_you. This would be right around the same time [info]ridikuluss was talking me into writing a fair amount more Ianto/Andy than I'd initially planned.

You can see where this is going.

I'm a Good Kid: My (not-so-stolen) prompt table.
So a while back, for my convenience, I nicked a 10/10 prompt table from [info]fanfic100. I didn't much want to participate in the challenge as written, or bother with the community aspect but I liked the idea of trying to write 100 pieces that clock in at 100 words.

Problem is, I felt terribly guilty about stealing the table. I know, I know. So I built a new one, keeping some of the categories, but making sure that they didn't match up with the original.

So now, without further ado:

It'll End In Tears #12: "No Brakes"
Title: "No Brakes"
Disclaimer: Being a bloke who likes to slash pretty men doesn't make me RTD, I don't work for the BBC, and as much as I might like to, I don't own Jack or Ianto or any part of Torchwood. I do, however, order pizza under that name on principle.
Pairings: Ianto/Andy, Jack/Ianto, Jack/Ianto/Andy. Oh and the dish and the spoon are totally doing it.
Rating: Series is predominantly hard NC-17. This installment is in the PG-ish range for language.
Notes/Summary: Part Twelve of the "It'll End In Tears" cluster, and #10 on the [info]un_love_you prompt table. Thanks to [info]demotu for giving this the sweet, sweet beta-fu.

Ianto is very, very careful about his diary. )

It'll End in Tears #11: "Feel the Way"
Title: "Feel the Way"
Disclaimer: Being a bloke who likes to slash pretty men doesn't make me RTD, I don't work for the BBC, and as much as I might like to, I don't own Jack or Ianto or any part of Torchwood. I do, however, order pizza under that name on principle.
Pairings: Ianto/Andy (offscreen), Jack/Ianto
Rating: Series is predominantly hard NC-17. This installment is in that range for smut and language.
Notes/Summary: Part Eleven of the "It'll End In Tears" cluster, and #9 on the [info]un_love_you prompt table. Thanks to [info]demotu for giving this the sweet, sweet beta-fu. Title is a reference to the infamous GDL-reads-a-sex-manual video from Sex, Wales, & Anarchy. Hey, I thought it was funny...

That went rather well, I think. )

It'll End in Tears #10: "Primitive Notion"
Title: "Primitive Notion"
Disclaimer: Being a bloke who likes to slash pretty men doesn't make me RTD, I don't work for the BBC, and as much as I might like to, I don't own Jack or Ianto or any part of Torchwood. I do, however, order pizza under that name on principle.
Pairings: Ianto/Andy, Jack/Ianto
Rating: Series is predominantly hard NC-17. This installment is in that range for smut, kink (bondage, D/s, flogging, electroplay), and language.
Notes/Summary: Part Ten of the "It'll End In Tears" cluster, and #8 on the [info]un_love_you prompt table. Thanks to [info]demotu for giving this the sweet, sweet beta-fu, and for [info]aibhinn for giving it a quick looking over as well.

"Whatever Happened to Andy?"
Title: "Whatever Happened to Andy?"
Disclaimer: Being a bloke who likes to slash pretty men doesn't make me RTD, I don't work for the BBC, and as much as I might like to, I don't own Jack or Ianto or any part of Torchwood. I do, however, order pizza under that name on principle.
Pairings: N/A
Rating: R-ish for violence, language.
Warning: Character death, spoilers for Doctor Who 3x11-3x13.
Notes/Summary: When the sky rips open and the world begins to end, Andy Davidson does his duty. Written for an RPG, but it stuck with me enough I wanted to share it a little more broadly.

So about a million years ago I was going through the list of people who'd friended this account and friending other fic accounts, and in the process added [info]roquentine. We struck up a conversation, and at some point she asked if I'd be willing to look something over.

That was sometime in January, I think.

Anyhow, the fruits of her labors have finally manifested themselves as a Nine/Rose/Jack piece called "Sentire." If you dig Doctor Who fic, you should check it out. It's beautiful, and a little dark, and made me smile at the end.

Prompt Me.
I'm working on three giant never-ending projects (Disambiguation II, that Iandy prompt table, something that just might be a S2 Hatful) and starting to feel the pain.

Seriously. It's like I will never die because there's too much to finish. I want to finish something. Have it be done. Complete.

I need some one-off prompts liek whoa.

Specifications
  • Preference for Janto, but am flexible.
  • No 2x09 ("Something Borrowed") or 2x13 ("Exit Wounds") prompts. I've got serious fatigue here, and it's not like everyone and his/her dog hasn't written them both into the ground. I am saving myself for HoH II.
  • Prefer to avoid character death.
  • I'm hard to squick.

Comments are screened to protect the innocent (and preserve the surprise).

Edit to add: Wow. Some really good ideas already, and several of them that work quite well together. Excellent.

So I'm sitting here, merrily coding away for Team Weevil, and just realized I haven't made a post to plug this week's Writer in a Drawer.

Bad co-mod. Bad.

You've still got just over five hours left to run and vote your picks for Team Pterodactyl at [info]writerinadrawer. Voting ends at 4:00 PM Central time. (That's 10 PM Cardiff for those of you who vote from the Hub.)

Team Pterodactyl's Theme: Boys' Night Out.

Stories for Team Weevil will go up this afternoon. Voting for them runs through Wednesday.

Sorry about the disappearing act, folks. I've been obscenely sick of late (am now on some sort of yummy inhaled steroid and some multi-symptom OTC crap in addition to the usual), trying not to fall over, etc.

As part of my medical treatment, I watched all of S2 yesterday.

Thoughts on that. Spoilers ahoy. )

Eiconau!
I'm a very silly person and found myself alone with:

a) some screencaps from 2x02 ("Sleeper"), and
b) Easy GIF Animator 4.

They're all sort of the same joke, but you know how it is.

You wouldn't think I'd be this interested in a piece of furniture. )
